ALL-GREAT WEST TEAM
University of North Dakota running back Mitch Sutton was named the rookie of the year in the Great West Conference.
UND had two players named to the All-Great West Conference team.
Sutton was a first-team selection on offense. Outside linebacker Ryan Kasowski was named to the first-team defense.
Five Fighting Sioux were named to the second team. On offense, wide receiver Ismael Bamba and lineman Kyle Bondy - who is from Williston - earned honors. On defense, lineman Ty Boyle, defensive back Dominique Hawkins and punter Brandon Hellevang earned honors.
Defensive back Kris Ankenbauer and defensive lineman Ross Brenneman were honorable mention selections.
