10 years ago (1999): FERGUSFALLS, Minn. - The Bismarck Governors beat St. Cloud, Minn., 5-4 in eight innings Sunday to finish 4-1 in the Fergus Falls American Legion baseball tournament.

Nathan Mickelson drove in Scott Michelson for what proved to be Bismarck's game-winning run.

20 years ago (1989): The Hazen American Legion baseball team made it look easy against Velva, winning 28-4.
