Billings scored the first three goals of the game and the Bobcats could never catch up as the Bulls beat Bismarck 6-3 in the American Frontier Hockey League playoffs.

Billings holds a 2-0 lead in the best-of-7 playoff series.

The Bobcats came back in the second period, making it 3-2 on goals by Brian Yingling and Damon Janillo.

Then the Bobcats made it 4-3 with a goal from Bill Cummings.

20 years ago (1988): MINOT - Two Bismarck teams met for the Commercial I crown in the North Dakota Amateur Basketball Tournament.

Elbow Room defeated Sunset Superstop 109-88.

Former University of Mary player Kevin Olson scored 32 points to lead Elbow Room.

Dave Smart and Rick Dressler each scored 24 points for Sunset.
