SEVERSON TOBEHONORED

Former Bismarck Governors coach Gene Severson will be inducted into the North Dakota American Legion baseball Hall of Fame tonight between games of the Bismarck-Mandan doubleheader at Bismarck Municipal Ballpark.

The ceremony, which will follow the A's-Reps game and precede the Chiefs-Governors game, is scheduled to start at approximately 7:15 p.m.

OLYMPIC CHAMPION MILLS TO VISIT UNITED TRIBES

Olympic gold medalist Billy Mills is scheduled to visit United Tribes Technical College during student orientation week. He will be guest speaker for an orientation and wellness event on Aug. 16. Mills' talk is scheduled for approximately 10:30 a.m. at the Lone Star Arena in the center of the UTTC campus, immediately following a fun run/walk. Mills was the first American to win a gold medal in the 10,000 meters, doing so in 1964.
