Kukuk, a 5-foot-10 sernior forward, scored 21 points for the game and Hoger, a 5-5 senior guard, had seven.
Nancy Kleinjan, Becky Doll and Dawn Hoger scored added eight points for the Holsteins.
Honor Karges led the Bison with 13 points, while Trina Johnson added 12 and Steph Huber chipped in 11 points.
50 years ago (1959): The Saints from St. Mary's Central High School unveil the 1959 grid campagin with a home game against Minot Ryan.
"This gives us a chance to take a look and see wht we've got," head coach Dave O'Brien said.
Both starting guards Rollin Welch and Jim Lengenfelder and halfback Dominick Horning will miss the opener.
