WOMEN'S BASKETBALL

TERNES EARNS HONOR

Bismarck State guard Hatti Ternes has been selected to the NJCAA Division II All-American third team. The sophomore from Bismarck averaged 12.4 points, 3.1 rebounds, 3.0 assists and 1.4 steals a game for the Mystics.

COLLEGE FOOTBALL

BLUE AND ORANGE BOWL

The University of Mary football team will conclude spring practice with the Blue and Orange Bowl on Wednesday.

It's free and open to the public. The Marauders practice at 7 p.m. with the scrimmage to begin around 7:30 p.m.

The Blue and Orange Bowl is the annual Marauders intrasquad scrimmage that caps the final practice of the spring. The event will be will be held at the Bismarck Community Bowl.

COLLEGE BASEBALL

U-MARY GAME MOVED

The University of Mary and Bemidji State baseball game, scheduled for Wednesday, has been moved to Bismarck.

The game was originally scheduled to be played in Bemidji, Minn. Weather conditions and the potential for poor field conditions in Northwest Minnesota prompted the site shift.

The doubleheader is set for 2 p.m. at the Municipal Ballpark.

U-Mary hosts Winona State in a four-game NSIC series this weekend. Saturday's start time is 2 p.m. and noon on Sunday. All games will be played at Municipal Ballpark.

Jon Hausauer tossed a four-hitter in the regional counter while Esley Thorton and Tyler Johnson combined on a two-hitter in the nightcap as Bismarck swept a doubleheader from Beulah.

Alex Deyle had a pair of hits for Bismarck in the opener. Jacob Hruby had two doubles and two RBIs for the Demons in the second game.
