EAST-WEST CROSSOVER

FARGO - Kyrsten Wallace scored three times as Century breezed past Grand Forks Central 6-1 at the East-West crossover in Fargo for its fifth straight win.

Hailee Walsh had a goal and an assist for the Patriots, who also got goals from Bekah Marcis and Annie Cramer.

Rachell Kuntz and Brooke Christensen found the back of the net for St. Mary's in a 2-0 win over West Fargo.

Jessica Liffrig scored for Mandan, but the Braves fell to Fargo North 2-1. Kristin Weninger scored Bismarck's lone goal in a 3-1 loss to Grand Forks Red River.

The entire second round of matches was canceled due to inclement weather.

St.Mary's twin bill with Williston has been changed to a single game on Thursday. The Saints' game with Williston will be coupled with a single BHS-Williston game at MunicipalBallpark.

Mandan's Daron Hohbein, a two-time state champion, has verbally committed to wrestle at Concordia-Moorhead next season. Hohbein had a career record of 186-27.

Six basketball players, two women and four men, have signed to play basketball at Bismarck State College next season.

Ida Clarke and Lisa Bear Robe signed to play for the women's team. Bear Robe, a 5-9 forward, averaged 11 points per game. Clarke, a 5-6 guard, averaged 14 points.

The men's team signed four players from Red Cloud. Art Vitalis, a 5-8 guard, averaged nine points and five assists. David Giago, a 6-2 forward, averaged 12 points. Billy Scott, a 6-3 forward, averaged 14 points. Lester Gotheridge, a 6-4 center, averaged 12 points.

Today's edition of TNT's Inside the NBA will feature former Lake Region State basketball player Emmanuel "Manny" Ohonme. Ohonme founded the charity Samaritan's Feet, with the goal of helping to outfit 10 million impoverished children with shoes over the next 10 years. The show airs after the San Antonio-New Orleans game, which begins at 7 p.m.
