State tournament history:West Fargo has never reached the championship game in the state Class ALegion tournament.
3 NOTES:West Fargo dropped two doubleheaders to Minot during the regular season.
Williston vs. Jamestown
Williston Keybirds
2007 record: 33-22, second place, Western Division Tournament.
Coach: Greg Beauchman.
State tournament history:Williston has won two state championships, in 1973 and 2004. The Keybirds reached the championship game last summer, losing to Minot.

State tournament history:Jamestown has won seven state Legion championships, the most recent in 2002. Jamestown was the runner-up in 2001.

Dickinson vs. Grand Forks
Grand Forks Royals
2007 record: 26-16, first place, Eastern Division Tournament.
Coach: Gabe Dahl.
State tournament history:The most recent of Grand Forks' 10 state Class Atitles came in 1999. The Royals were second in 1997. Grand Forks won four straight state crowns from 1936 through 1939, the longest title run in tournament history.
3 NOTES:Grand Forks and Dickinson have not met this season.

State tournament history:Fargo boasts 22 state Legion titles, 11 more than any other team. Post 2 won its last title in 2005 after finishing second in 2004. Fargo won six titles in seven years in the 1940s.
3 NOTES: Fargo and Bismarck split a doubleheader this season.
Bismarck Governors
2007 record: 34-14, third place, Western Division Tournament.
Coach: Mike Skytland.
State tournament history:Bismarck boasts 11 state titles, second only to Fargo's 22. The Governors last won in 1997. They lost in the championship game in 1998 and 2005.
