Trivia answer
From 1D: Two years ago today, Tiger Woods won the PGA Championship, closing with a 4-under 68 for a five-shot victory and his 12th career major. He became the first player to win the PGA Championship twice on the same course, having beaten Sergio Garcia by one shot at Medinah in 1999.

10 years ago (1998):The Century boys tennis team returns all but one varsity player from last year and is the unanimous choice of area coaches as the team most likely to succeed.
Leading the charge will be senior Reggie Thomas, who took fourth in singles at the state tournament last year.
Close behind are senior Nathan Hill and freshman Cale Hoovestol.
The St. Mary's Saints have one of the region's best players, Dan Keith, to build around.
Seniors Casey Santoro and Jerry Schauer will try to help groom the youngsters.
Bismarck returns its top player from a year ago, Mikael Olson, but have only two other regulars back in Ethan Hinton - the team's lone senior - and Simon Fowler.
Mandan will look to returners Mike Kapp and Brian Heinert to lead the Braves back to state.
20 years ago (1988): BRADDOCK - Neither snow nor rain nor heat nor gloom of night stays Braddock Courier Joan Schmidt from the swift completion of her appointed rounds. After all, she has to get home and give her daughter the mail.
Every day, it seems, Nadine Schmidt receives from her mailmom one of two of three letters from colleges of America. Let's see, the other day it was Dartmouth and Texas A&M. Oh, there was Minnesota, Montana State and Idaho, LSU, Weber State. On and on.
I.E. Shepard, who became Braddock's first postmaster in 1898, probably didn't see that many letters in his lifetime. They may have named this town for Edward Braddock - but Ed couldn't have had a jump shot like Nadine Schmidt's.
50 years ago (1958): New head football coach Connie Juelke has scheduled twice-a-day practice sessions for his Mandan gridders in order to squeeze in extra practice time before the Braves' opener two weeks hence.
Juelke, who succeeds Johnny Mach at the helm of Mandan football teams, had little information on his new charges, but said 14 returning lettermen were among the 51 players who got equipment for the start of practice.
Mach, who had been here 13 years, has taken a new position in California.
