On defense: linemen Eugene Kramer and Chuck Michaelson; linebacker Kurt Gunderson; defensive back Scott Gratz; and punter Jeff Seward. Gunderson is from Bismarck and Kramer is from Strasburg.

U-Mary's Toby Schweitzer, a linebacker from Bismarck, made the first-team All-DAC.

50 years ago (1958): The undefeated champion Fort Yates Warriors and the Flasher Bulldogs, who tied for second place, each had four players named to the first Heart River Conference all-conference football team.
