LANGDON - Cavalier County commissioners want residents to vote on whether they would like to vote by mail.

Auditor Dawn Roppel said the commissioners decided this week to put the vote-by-mail question to an advisory vote of county residents next November. For now, the county will continue with its current precinct system, she said.

"They're going to keep the precincts and the voting as it has in the past. They may look at it in the future, see if the other counties have any problems," she said.
