FARGO (AP) - Pump prices have dropped below $2 for a gallon of unleaded gasoline in some parts of North Dakota.
AAA reports that retailers in Fargo and West Fargo set the price for a gallon of regular unleaded gas at $1.99 Wednesday. The automobile club says it's the first time since February 2007 that the price has been so low.
AAA says North Dakota's average price Wednesday for a gallon of regular unleaded gasoline was $2.37, a penny higher than the national average. The report says pump prices in the state have fallen $1.25 a gallon since Oct. 1.
The club says Alaska had the highest average Wednesday of $3.48 per gallon, while Missouri has the lowest at $2.03.
