CROOKSTON, Minn. (AP) - Two people have died in a broadside crash north of Crookston, in northwestern Minnesota.

The Minnesota State Patrol identifies them as 20-year-old Scott Rabuse of Grand Forks, N.D., and 62-year-old Rosemary Larson of Euclid, Minn.

The crash happened shortly after 6 p.m. Tuesday at the intersection of Minnesota Highway 75 and Polk County Road 17 about eight miles north of Crookston.

The State Patrol says Rabuse was driving a Ford Mustang that was westbound at high speed on County Road 17 when it failed to brake for some railroad tracks and went through a stop sign.

Larson was driving a Chrysler 300 that had been eastbound before it stopped at the sign, and was turning left onto Highway 75 when it was broadsided.
