HANKINSON (AP) - The Hankinson City Council is investigating alleged hanky-panky at a bar in town.

Mayor Joe O'Meara said a man and a woman had sex in the Spare Time Bar "for a long time" about a month ago, and some patrons recorded the act on their cell phones.

O'Meara said City Council members found out about the incident after some of them received a text message on their cell phones the next morning.

Richland County prosecutors charged Joshua Fenske, 21, of Hankinson and Adriane Diede, 21, of Breckenridge, Minn., with fornicating in public.

O'Meara said the city has ordinances against nudity in city limits. He said the bar's owner, Roger Boutain, faces a Dec. 3 hearing over the status of his liquor license. Boutain was not in the bar at the time of the incident.
