The state Health Department reports 3,730 confirmed flu cases in North Dakota this week.
The total is the second highest since 2005.
Cass County is still leading the state with 736 flu cases. Burleigh County reports 626, Morton County has 227, Grand Forks County 214 and Stutsman County 201. Billings County still reports no flu activity.
Health officials say 88 people have been hospitalized because of the flu.
State influenza coordinator Michelle Feist says more cases of Type B influenza are being seen at the end of the flu season. She says that is not as severe as the Type A seen earlier. The flu season typically ends in May.
