MINOT (AP) - A plaque for Medal of Honor winner Woodrow Wilson Keeble is being dedicated at the North Dakota Medal of Honor Memorial during Fourth of July festivities in Minot's Roosevelt Park.
Keeble was awarded the medal in March, 26 years after his death. He was a Korean War hero and the first full-blooded Sioux Indian to receive the Medal of Honor, the military's highest award.
Keeble was a member of the Sisseton-Wahpeton Sioux tribe.
