WEST FARGO (AP) - Caterpillar Inc., says it is acquiring some of the assets of Gremada Industries, a West Fargo company that reclaims metal parts and services mining equipment.
Financial details of the agreement are not being released.
Caterpillar made the announcement in a statement from its Peoria, Ill., headquarters. It says Gremada is a privately held company in West Fargo and Fargo with more than 200 employees.
Caterpillar says they will join Caterpillar's Remanufacturing Division.
Caterpillar says the acquisition agreement was signed Sunday, and the deal is expected to close when the legal requirements are settled.
