FARGO (AP) - The disciplinary board of the state Supreme Court has suspended the license of a Fargo attorney and former federal prosecutor convicted of shoplifting earlier this month.
Dennis Fisher was sentenced to 30 days in jail after pleading guilty to four misdemeanors. Authorities say he stole two hunting knives worth more than $125 each and assaulted a store employee who caught him. The board says it will make a final ruling after disciplinary proceedings are completed.
Fisher was suspended from practicing law for three months in 1997, after stealing a $60 tool and two pairs of shorts. He was also fired from his job as assistant U.S. attorney in North Dakota.
