GRAND FORKS (AP) - A burglary spree in Grand Forks.
Police have received several reports of home burglaries in the past two weeks.
The break-ins have taken place both day and night, resulting in losses of jewelry and high-end home electronics such as TVs and DVD players.
Police believe the burglaries are connected.
Forced entry has been a common factor in most of the heists, but it appears the thieves have been knocking on doors first to see if anyone is home.
Police encourage residents who see anything suspicious in their neighborhoods to immediately report it.
