FARGO (AP) - A man who was convicted of telling a fellow prison inmate he wanted to kill President George W. Bush wants out of a Fargo halfway house.
Daniel Cvijanovich was sentenced to 19 months in prison and one year in a halfway house for one felony count of threats against the president. He has been at Fargo's Centre Inc. for about two months.
In a motion filed in federal court, Cvijanovich says he has followed court orders, including treatment for chemical dependency.
He says his recovery is going well and he has been working for a month. He wants to move in with his parents in Fargo.
A judge has not ruled on the request.
