JAMESTOWN (AP) - Sixty human service workers in Jamestown are getting resettled in their offices, after being gone for nearly 100 days because of spring flooding.
Employees at South Central Human Service Center evacuated on April 16 when a dike was built though their parking lot in preparation for high water releases from Jamestown Dam. They moved back on Thursday.
Ten years of medical records for about 4,500 people also had to be moved, and then moved back.
The building did not have any water damage. While it was empty, officials took advantage of the opportunity to install a new entrance and clean carpets.
