FARGO (AP) - A judge has set bail at $100,000 for a Fargo rapist accused of violating probation.

Gero Mahto served about 15 years in prison for raping four Fargo women and is currently serving 10 years on probation.

The 38-year-old is accused of violating several terms of his probation when he allegedly called a Jamestown gas station late last month and asked for help getting rid of marijuana.

Mahto moved to Jamestown after his release from prison last July. If his probation is revoked, he could be ordered to prison for nearly 19 years.
