Experts at a two-day state conference on alcohol and drug abuse plan to share their ideas on how to change destructive behavior and meet treatment needs.
The Department of Human Services says about 300 professionals from around the state are expected at the gathering starting Tuesday in Mandan.
JoAnne Hoesel heads the department's Division of Mental Health and Substance Abuse Services. She says the conference will discuss ways to strengthen community prevention efforts.
