WILLISTON (AP) - Williston officials say there is no immediate solution to the housing shortage in town.
Officials say some landlords have doubled rents in the past five years due to increased activity in the state's oil patch.
Tracey Cox is an Emergency Services Specialist at Community Action Partnerships. Cox says she's seeing more families who are homeless because they can't find affordable housing.
The Williston Housing Authority has 128 public housing units, but all are occupied.
