LOGAN (AP) - When wedding bells rang for Rebecca Ann Morey, they echoed over the prairie.
Morey said it has been her dream since childhood to get married on the family farm. On Saturday, she married Chris McGuinness in a wheat field.
"I grew up here and helped my family out in the field, and always told my family I wanted to get married on the farm," she said. "I didn't care if I got married in a pasture, but I wanted to get married here. It all came together for the family."
Her father, Brent Morey, said he never believed that his daughter would get married in a field.
"All her life while working with me, she kept saying she wanted to get married in a field, and I never listened to her," he said. "Well, here she is now getting married here."
The groom said he was happy to make his new bride's dream come true.
The couple live in Colorado.
