A Valley City man has died from injuries he suffered in a car-truck crash in Steele County last month.

The Highway Patrol says it was notified on Thursday that 43-year-old Gene Russell had died from injuries suffered in the Sept. 29 crash.

Troopers say 75-year-old Kenneth Ihry Sr. also was killed in the crash.

Troopers say Ihry was driving a truck that collided with a car driven by Russell on state Highway 32. Both men were taken to a Fargo hospital.
