Dickinson businesswoman and Board of Higher Education member Pam Kostelecky will serve as chairwoman of a 15-member committee that will search for a new president of Dickinson State University.
The panel includes two Dickinson men, Paul Ebeltoft and Jack Olin, who formerly served on the board, along with representatives of the school's faculty, staff, students and community.
William Goetz, who takes over next week as chancellor of North Dakota's university system, will serve as a nonvoting member. Goetz is a former business professor and administrator at Dickinson State.
The incumbent president, Lee Vickers, plans to retire at year's end. The Board of Higher Education is also overseeing the recruitment of new presidents of the University of North Dakota and Lake Region State College at Devils Lake.
Other search committee members are: Jami Arnold, Hal Haynes, Roger Kilwein, Corrine Kraus, Roberta Kudrna, Cheryl Lantz, Marty Oderman-Gardner, Paul Steffes, Linda Steve, Roger Ternes and Pam Wilz.
