CAVALIER (AP) - A man has been sentenced to prison after pleading guilty in a methamphetamine-making operation that included a 300-pound anhydrous ammonia tank and a stolen fish house buried underground.
Eddie Evans of Langdon pleaded guilty to manufacturing methamphetamine and felony theft in Cavalier County and to possessing meth and unauthorized of a motor vehicle in Pembina County.
Evans was sentenced to five years in prison with 34 months suspended and supervised probation for five years.
Authorities said they found a stolen propane tank filled with anhydrous ammonia buried in a gravel pit northeast of Langdon, and a stolen fish house buried underground at another gravel pit.
