FARGO (AP) - A Fargo man says the school board broke state open meetings law when it decided to draft a letter without listing the issue for discussion on the board's agenda.
Board President Dan Fremling denies any wrongdoing.
Dave Engebretson said it's a question of principle. He filed a complaint with the attorney general's office.
Board member Jim Johnson said the city of Fargo wanted the board's support for a southside flood control project. Johnson made a motion last week to order Superintendent Rick Buresh to draft a letter of support that could be approved later this month. All eight board members approved the motion.
