FARGO (AP) - A construction company says the city of West Fargo owes money for overtime costs involving a 2003 street project.

Opp Construction LLC of Grand Forks is suing West Fargo in state court. The city denies the company's allegations.

The West Fargo City Commission is to meet behind closed doors Monday night to discuss the case. An attorney for the city, Christopher McShane, says the commissioners will discuss possible mediation.

Opp Construction's lawsuit says it is seeking more than $50,000 in damages and attorney fees, though it does not give an exact amount. The city wants the case dismissed and wants to be reimbursed for the cost of its defense.
