MINOT (AP) - The Bill and Michelle Bliven family on Sunday received more gifts, a day after first seeing their new home built through the ABC TV show "Extreme Makeover: Home Edition."
The gifts ranged from a $2,000 check from the North Dakota Association of Realtors to free homeowners' insurance for a year.
"Extreme Makeover: Home Edition" finds a deserving family and builds them a new home in seven days. While the Blivens and their three children spent the week on a Disney Cruise, more than 3,800 people worked to build a wheelchair-accessible home for Aaron, who has cerebral palsy.
The family found out Sunday that West Fargo-based Roll-A-Ramp will make their van handicapped-accessible for free. They're also getting other gifts, such as free lawn care for a year and a free lawnmower.
A medical fund also has been set up for Aaron. The owners of Heritage Homes in Fargo, which built the house, said the fund already has $10,000 in it.
