Temperatures at or above freezing kept a weather system that was moving east from Montana from dropping a lot of snow on central North Dakota, the National Weather Service says.
Up to 3 inches of snow had been expected in parts of the region Saturday, possibly creating hazardous travel conditions.
Forecasters late Saturday morning said winter weather advisories were no longer in effect in the region. Snow accumulations were expected to be limited to around an inch in far south-central North Dakota, with other parts of the state getting rain.
