FARGO (AP) - Fargo police say they are investigating an assault at a bar in town.

Police say a 24-year old Fargo man was badly beaten at the Hub early Friday morning.

Sgt. Ross Renner says the man was taken to a hospital. He says it appears the man's injuries are "serious but not life-threatening."

Police won't say if they have a suspect. Renner says they looking for people who may witnessed the assault inside the packed nightspot.

Renner says police don't suspect that weapons were involved in the assault.
