FARGO (AP) - Sen. Kent Conrad was an early supporter of Barack Obama, but don't expect him to leave the Senate for a cabinet-level job in the Obama administration.
Conrad says he's feels "incredibly fortunate" to have had a 22-year Senate career, and wants to use his seniority to help his state. A vacancy in his Senate seat could lead to the appointment of a Republican to fill it.
