Tesoro Corp. has named John Berger as the manager of its Mandan refinery.

The company says Berger has been promoted from the job of operations manager, with more than 20 years of refining industry experience.

Berger succeeds Al Anderson, who has been the Mandan refinery manger for the past six years. Tesoro said Anderson will manage its Kapolei refinery in Hawaii.
