Bond has been set at $10,000 cash for a man charged in a shooting in Dickinson.
The 59-year-old Joel Wetzel had been in a Bismarck hospital, after being shot in the chest by a police officer on July 8. He now is being held at a Dickinson jail.
Authorities say Wetzel broke into a home and fired a rifle shot at 56-year-old Arnold Sickler, who was hit in the leg by bullet fragments.
Wetzel is charged with burglary and reckless endangerment.
Authorities say he spent time in prison for a manslaughter conviction 14 years ago.
