DETROIT LAKES, Minn. (AP) - Authorities in northwestern Minnesota are trying to determine if a North Dakota man drowned in a lake or died of a medical condition.
The Becker County sheriff's office says 56-year-old Ronald Price of Fargo was found unresponsive in Lake Maud late Saturday night.
Efforts to revive Price failed, and he was pronounced dead at a Detroit Lakes hospital.
His wife says Price had been relaxing in a floating chair in shallow water before he was found.
The Ramsey County medical examiner's office will conduct an autopsy.
Lake Maud is southwest of Detroit Lakes.
