MINNEWAUKAN (AP) - The Highway Patrol has identified a Fargo man killed in a crash near Minnewaukan.

Troopers say a pickup went into a ditch, over rocks and into Devils Lake, where 25-year-old Abraham Wilson died early Sunday morning while apparently trying to swim to shore.

The patrol says 25-year-old Malorie Jo O'Connell of Fargo, who was driving the pickup, swam to shore and notified authorities.

The patrol said O'Connell was driving to a home near Minnewaukan when she lost control of the pickup at around 1 a.m. Sunday.

Authorities said rescuers found the man's body in the water and the pickup submerged.
