Motorcyclist killed in Dickinson crash

DICKINSON (AP) - A motorcycle struck a car, then crashed into windows of a Dickinson furniture store and wound up in the store parking lot, killing the cycle's driver, the Highway Patrol said.

The patrol identified the driver as Chase Frenzel, 23, of New Hradec. Police said he died at the scene of the crash Monday night. The motorcycle was a total loss, authorities said.

Police Sgt. Parke Little said the motorcycle was speeding, and struck the car at an intersection before hitting a curb and several windows on the side of the Kovash Furniture store.

The car's driver, Wiletta Stoltz, 79, of Dickinson, and a passenger, Paul Stoltz, 85, of Dickinson, were not hurt.
