MINOT (AP) - Members of the North Dakota National Guard's 164th Engineer Battalion were being honored Saturday in Minot.

Gov. John Hoeven, Congressman Earl Pomeroy and Guard commander Dave Sprynczynatyk were to be on hand at the "Freedom Salute" ceremony at 1 p.m. at the All Seasons Arena.

More than 100 soldiers with the Minot-based unit served a year in Iraq, returning home last April. The soldiers are from 33 North Dakota cities.
