WAHPETON (AP) - Early morning thunderstorms flooded fields and basements in Richland County, which was under a flash flood warning through most of Thursday morning.

The National Weather Service said the area got more than 3 inches of rain.

Fields south of Wahpeton were under water, and homes and businesses in Fairmount had water in basements and on main floors. Hankinson also reported minor flooding.
