GRAND FORKS (AP) - The University of North Dakota's Ag-Cam is set for launch.
The camera was built by students and faculty over the past seven years. It is slated to be launched aboard the space shuttle Endeavour to the International Space Station on Nov. 14.
Once aboard the International Space Station, the camera will send back high resolution pictures and information that can be used by farmers and scientists.
George Seielstad is the director of the Northern Great Plains Center for People and the Environment at UND. He says the camera has been at the Kennedy Space Station in Florida since February.
