FOSSTON, Minn. (AP) - Two 19-year-old men from Fosston have been arrested as part of an arson investigation in northwestern Minnesota.
The Polk County Sheriff's office says the arrests were made Friday and that the suspects will likely be formally charged on Monday with first-degree arson.
The pair is suspected of burning buildings last Sunday in Mahnomen, Polk and Clearwater counties.
Deputy State Fire Marshal Kevin Mahle says similar tire tracks and other links between the fires led investigators to the conclusion that the same individuals set each of the fires.
