NEW ROCKFORD (AP) - The mayor of New Rockford says the city needs sandbagging help.
Mayor Jim Belquist says a number of homes are threatened by the James River. He says high school students have been sandbagging, but more help is needed.
Belquist estimates about 20 New Rockford homes are along the river. He says crews are trying to keep water out of their back yards.
Belquist says the sandbagging is being coordinated at New Rockford City Hall.
