LAKE GEORGE, Minn. (AP) - A Lake George woman has died after an ATV accident in northern Minnesota.
Hubbard County Sheriff Gary Mills says 50-year-old Carol Robin Spry lost control of the four-wheeler Saturday as she drove down a hill that was washed out.
Both Spry and her passenger were thrown from the ATV.
Spry was taken to a Fargo, North Dakota, hospital, where she died Sunday. Her passenger was treated and released from a Park Rapids Hospital.
The sheriff says alcohol appears to be a factor in the accident, which happened three miles south of Lake George. The case remains under investigation.
