CRYSTAL (AP) - A car rollover in a ditch along a gravel road in Pembina County has killed a 15-year-old passenger.

The Highway Patrol says 15-year-old Ashley Martens of Crystal was dead at the scene. The crash happened shortly before 5 a.m. Saturday.

The patrol says the driver of the car, 20-year-old Thomas Martens of Crystal, faces a drunken driving charge. He was hospitalized with injuries to his hands and back.

Authorities say another passenger, 18-year-old Rebecca Martens of Crystal, was hospitalized in Grand Forks with a broken arm, broken neck and facial injuries. The patrol says she was cited for underage drinking.
