GRAND FORKS (AP) - State officials have scheduled another public hearing on a proposed new Grand Forks landfill after opponents said they needed more time to study information.
The state's environmental health chief, Dave Glatt, says the Grand Forks County Citizens Coalition wants more time to study information from the city.
Glatt says another public hearing is planned for Feb. 2 at the Alerus Center in Grand Forks.
After the public comment period, the state will make a decision on the city's application for a landfill permit.
