FARGO (AP) - Police say a woman woke up to find a man standing in her home, staring at her, in a case similar to five others involving a man dubbed the "sleep watcher."
Home intrusion incidents have been reported in Fargo, West Fargo and Moorhead, Minn., over the past year, but police are not yet ready to say they involve the same man.
"Until we're able to locate a suspect, it might not be considered a good idea to link them without actually some facts to back it up," Fargo Police Lt. Pat Claus said.
In the most recent case Tuesday night, the intruder was described as about 5-foot-8.
Police said that the woman fled and then called police from a relative's home. A search turned up no trace of the man.
