FARGO (AP) - A woman accused of trying to kill her two children has been arrested at the Fargo airport.

Police Sgt. Jeff Skuza said officers got a tip that Breezetta Etienne might be headed toward the airport and they were waiting for her Friday.

Police said Etienne, 31, of East Grand Forks, Minn., violated a restraining order that barred her from having contact with her estranged husband, who now has custody of her two children. Authorities in Polk County, Minn., issued a warrant for her on Sept. 5.

Etienne is charged with trying to poison her two daughters with vehicle exhaust in June. She has pleaded not guilty to two counts of attempted murder.

Authorities said Etienne and her daughters, ages 3 and 4, were found inside a running sport utility vehicle in their garage in East Grand Forks. Court documents said a hose led from the exhaust pipe through a rear door into the vehicle. Officers found an open beer bottle and what appeared to be a suicide note.

Authorities believe Etienne was headed toward Las Vegas.

Etienne is the sister of Moe Gibbs, who was convicted last year of killing Valley City State University student Mindy Morgenstern.
