The eight are former University of North Dakota president Thomas Clifford, actress Angie Dickinson, media executive William Marcil, former General Motors executive Harry Pearce, broadcast executive Chester Reiten, singer Bobby Vee, University of Mary President Sister Thomas Welder and author Larry Woiwode.
Hoeven's office says the group will speak to business and community leaders, students and others at a number of events next Wednesday and Thursday.
